Partnership and Commitment Ceremonies

Civil Partnerships

Love is love, and people will always fall in love and want to celebrate their love in ways that are personal and unique to them.

Diana believes that all loving unions are worthy of respectful observance. Celebrations of a Civil Partnership and Civil Marriage can include as many traditional elements as the couple wish, including exchanges of rings and vows, readings, blessings and music.

Known for her beautifully worded ceremonies, sensitive handling of civil partnerships, same-sex ceremonies, and her open-minded and all-embracing approach to gay clients and their respective families, Diana is greatly in demand for her personalised partnership ceremonies

Commitment Ceremonies

Some couples choose a simple Commitment Ceremony, dedicating themselves to each other in front of family and friends, without the formality of a registered marriage, and celebrating their intention to remain committed to their relationship for the rest of their lives. These ceremonies can include all the traditional elements of a wedding ceremony, or they can be simplified to focus just on the promises of commitment between the couple.

"Diana you were amazing, sorry you didn't hear but you and your beautiful words were acknowledged in speeches"

"After twenty four years together we decided the time was right to publicly “seal” our commitment to each other and fortunately, having witnessed Diana act as the celebrant at other ceremonies, we felt that as we were to declare our love for each other then it was Diana – and only Diana – who should lead us through this declaration on the day"

"It was a wonderful occasion made all the more special with Diana telling our story, supporting us through the commitment, the exchange of rings and then the blessing. There was even an appearance made by Willow, our adorable Labrador as “ring bearer” and she simply took this decision in her stride and worked out how this was going to work in the best way. It was magical"
